I recommend them to every one of my clients happily!
As a web designer and developer, I've moved as many clients as I can convince over to WP Engine. Their sites are never hacked, lightning fast, and they honestly have the BEST tech support in the industry. Super quick to respond via the chat feature.. no calling in and being put on hold for hours. Best Customer Service Period!
WP Engine is great! Their products and customer service are always outstanding. If you've ever tried to reach tech support in the past with other companies, you know it can be a dreadful experience. I have contacted WP Engine's support team dozens and dozens of time, and the wait ranges from under a minute to maybe a few. The help is always professional and productive. I love working with WP Engine. Highly recommended!

Support Tries, Bit Dated
Their support tries very hard to make it work. GitPush is very particular and SFTP had a lot of trouble working due to unusual protocol and port setup so that was very unpleasant overhead to the usually simple wp development. The hosting service is getting dated with lack of good devops or devX so that's a big warning.

Support is there for all your needs
Support is there for all your needs, even when you make a mistake they are there to help & support you. I am new to word press and when I deleted my site Loki helped me recover my backup and was very kind/ supportive. I am a newbie when it comes to creating so it was reassuring to have the help & not be made to feel bad about a simple mistake I made. Best online chat support! I give it two thumbs up!

WPEngine has been horrible!
WPEngine has been horrible! I have been trying to stop my services for over a month and they will not downgrade my account. I am paying over $900 a month and desperately trying to downgrade and they won't let me. I opted for a custom 100-site server. They told me I needed to upgrade and get a bigger server when I had only 70 small sites because we ran out of storage! I decided to move all my sites to Kinsta which has been WAY better for performance. I now have 24 sites on my servers ...
