WP Engine is great. We run WP services agency and are migrating everyone we can over. Customer service is the best I’ve seen and the hosting performance is amazing. Evercache is very useful. All of our clients have their performance issues solved by switching to WP Engine.

I moved away from WPEngine a long time…

I moved away from WPEngine a long time ago. I left because I had chronic issues with site speed that could not be resolved. I moved to Squarespace.

Outstanding Tech Support WPEngine has the best tech support of any company I've ever dealt with. They are quick to respond and have always provided the guidance I need to resolve the issue I contacted them about.

The good: Decent support. The bad: you will probably need it.

Had to talk to three different support people to get an issue resolved that was totally their fault. We accepted a site transfer when taking over a WPEngine site from another account, and weeks or months later, our site went down due to the domain still be associated with the old account. The first support person seemed to think it's possible to have DNS records for a single domain split across more than one DNS provider (it isn't) so I had to disconnect and reconnect with a different ...

What do you like best about WP Engine? The easy-to-use staging environment and very fast copy from live to stage and vice-versa, and the excellent customer support. What do you dislike about WP Engine? The price is a bit steep for me to use with my own websites, as I have many of them, and it would be too expensive to host them all with WP Engine. What do you like best about WP Engine? The consistent performance from WPengine is true for their uptime, speed, support team, and work they put into innovation and improving their platform. WP engine is always on top of it. What do you dislike about WP Engine? The cost would be my number one concern if I were a smaller client. At the agency level, it's a lesser concern.
