I setup Workplace for the startup that I work in to better manage the teams.

What do you like best? I like how we can make groups and have a Facebook based UX to interact with teams. The chat option is really handy along with polling options. We don't have to always share files with each other on pendrives or cloud. What do you dislike? There is specifically nothing that I dislike about Workplace by facebook. Recommendations to others considering the product: Avoid adding members from other organizations or with different domain email. It gets ...

Better in Concept than Reality

What do you like best? Facebook is utilized by virtually everyone, so to get them into the platform is simple. What do you dislike? The platform seems like it would be great in theory, since nearly everyone uses Facebook. However, Facebook is used as a tool outside of the workplace - a platform for leisure. It’s difficult to get people to continue to use the platform, it’s not well integrated with other systems. Overall, it’s not effective for collaboration. What problems are ...

Great way to collaborate with remote teams

What do you like best? I like the ability to follow updates of other employees, set up the org chart, and the ease of Facebook. What do you dislike? I don't like notification features on mobile. I don't get enough information without having to open the app and find out. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're able to keep up with our remote teams across the globe and reach out directly quicker than email.

Facebook @ Work Helps Make Work Fun!

What do you like best? I really think its a great way to get to know your colleagues on a different level besides work. Whether its a big or small company, it makes people feel more "real" and less like colleagues by providing more background. It also makes sharing things that would have been an email a short and sweet process. What do you dislike? At my previous company Facebook Workplace was already established and well used. However at my current company, we're actually going ...

Solve our problem because we can use this application for many reasons of interest.

What do you like best? I like the simplicity of the Workplace by Facebook software. Setting up and registering people was very simple. There are some very good features, such as the ability to allow people to log in with their employee ID, without email addresses. What do you dislike? At least for me, Workplace by Facebook software is for functionalities and social updates of coworkers. More importantly, we use other programs for quick messages. Recommendations to others ...

Works with our budget!

What do you like best? Workplace by Facebook allowed me to communicate effectively while abroad for work. It was accessible, easy to use, and a great space to share documents and important projects or events across the board of directors and staff. What do you dislike? The admin side could use some updating. I'd like to see the forms be changed from surveys. The time it takes to get a hang of some of its aspects and offerings can be overwhelming at first. What problems are you ...

Best buddy for any newcomer in the company

What do you like best? I found that the Workplace is very user-friendly. As it operates a lot like Facebook which allmost all of us use daily. I like utilizing the groups feature as it has allowed me to find out about company events, birthday, work anniversaries etc. and gives chance to connect with other employees that I may have not come across before. Workplace act as the enabler for me to communicate with my colleagues with ease. The use of stickers, emoji, and gifs makes the ...
