Workplace by Facebook is the solution for remote workforces

Facebook for Work
What do you like best? Being able to connect with all the divisions within the company. See what other business units are doing. What do you dislike? You can not share files/pdfs/powerpoints only pictures seem to work. Nice tool for communicating issues, creating polls, and getting quick feedback.
What do you like best? creating groups for specific topics. Quick announcements that don't require email. Fun posts from company activities. What do you dislike? Too similar to Facebook. Can easily make the mistake that you are using Facebook. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Discussions and issues can be resolved on a group level quickly, and visible to all which is convenient and better than email.

Yet another thing I have to check every day
What do you like best? Adds a fun, social area to connect with coworkers, share pics, etc. What do you dislike? I don't need another facebook. I don't need 20 more notifications a day. I don't need another way to be social at work. Recommendations to others considering the product: Does anyone REALLY need this? What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Static groups and resources.

unclear how the facebook experience translates into workplace productivity
What do you like best? familiar operating system allowed me to quickly get an idea of what was going on. What do you dislike? Somewhat opaque and convoluted onboarding criteria and understanding of how new users can access the system. Many of the help pages and preferences would go to facebook page domains, no matter how hard FB tries to explain that it's a different platform it has way too much crossover and redirects to FB domain pages for various aspects of preferences and help ...
