Best free blogging option for work and personal life

What do you like best? The flexibility and professional look of a site without the necessity for web development knowledge; the ability to change the look and function of a site drastically through the implementation of themes and other settings. What do you dislike? Not much of a dislike, but there is something of a learning curve on some aspects of the interface. Recommendations to others considering the product Take a look at WordPress sites, talk to those who have used it ...

I have used it for both personal and professional use

What do you like best? I love the ease of use and the amazing customer service when something goes wrong or you can't get your web page/site to display correctly. Of all of the content editors I have used Wordpress is the one I like the best. What do you dislike? I wish templates were more editable, even as a paid account I do not have access to the entire blog template. I understand that I can create or buy one, but ultimately I wish I could do something as simple as edit the footer ...

Not the easiest to use, but a business solution all the same.

What do you like best? I like that Wordpress gives my team a way to edit our website ourselves and curate our content. What do you dislike? While Wordpress is great in that it allows us to cut out a "middle man", it is far from intuitive. It's easy to get lost in the interface and only one person can edit a page at a time. Recommendations to others considering the product Get to know the interface intimately before making a ton of pages. That way, you'll have your bearings and a ...

Wordpress -made for the novice and experienced site owner

What do you like best? Wordpress provides unlimited templates and site suggestions geared towards success. There is no way to lose with the help and tutorials they have available. What do you dislike? the only thing that I noticed that was a negative is that some of your specific questions are not easily found in the questions and answers database. Some of the answers are too generalized even when asking a specific topic question. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

Simple Website Development

What do you like best? The open source and free nature of the Wordpress content management system makes it my go-to when needing to develop a website. A robust community and wide-ranging availability of plugins makes it easy to create a website in a short period of time. What do you dislike? Some of the community plugins are unfortunately problematic when it comes to security, as they're not held to a strict review system. That said, common sense should guide you. What business ...

Simple yet efficient

What do you like best? WordPress is a very basic site to start a simple blog, web store, or any other content you are wanting to share across the world. It also has the ability to be modified and tweaked to how you want it to look and it is very in depth if you know what you're doing. What do you dislike? For the features that you receive, I think that the pricing model could use some tweaking. I think that a student pricing model would be a nice feature to add because a lot of ...

Have used Wordpress for big and small and love it

What do you like best? I like the versatility. I have tried a few different platforms and Wordpress consistently impresses me with its ease of use and robust capabilities. What do you dislike? As a beginner i remember overloading my sites with plugins, themes, widgets and tons of images that all slowed down my site really bad. That was mostly my fault but some guidance there for beginners especially could be nice. Recommendations to others considering the product It can be daunting ...

A Great Blog Tool for Everyone

What do you like best? Wordpress is a great tool you can use to implement into an existing website or simply on its own. It is easy to learn. Choosing your customization is great and helps you convey your message clearly. It's definitely worth a look if you are looking into starting a blog. What do you dislike? Some of the better themes are paid but that's not really a big con overall. They have a lot of great ones to choose from if you're on a tight budget. Recommendations to others ...
