Great Blogging Tool
What do you like best? I really like the simplicity of Wordpress. It's easy to create and edit pages and posts. It's very simple to set up a customized layout, add plug ins, create a small gallery, keep track of who visits the site, and organize posts. Of all the blogging sites/scripts I've used Wordpress has been my favorite for over ten years now. Best of all it's Free! What do you dislike? Sometimes too many plug ins are installed it can bog the site. It would also be great if some ...

Who knew you could personalize and brand YOU!
What do you like best? I have used Word Press since its conception and use it to build MY brand. I have a personal website and I use it almost like my own personal Facebook page. I post inspiration, quotes, blogs and reviews of products I love! What do you dislike? Sometimes I have trouble with the customization tools and learning word press language. It has a slight learning curve for the average user, but there ARE so many templates out there that it can be overcome. What business ...

Wordpress - the best supported CMS out there
What do you like best? The support for Wordpress is what makes it stand out of the pack. Free plugins to add features, a solid code base, and great forums lead to easy implementation of complex web applications. The recent addition of the json API is a game changer for mobile development as well. What do you dislike? There is certainly a learning curve as a new developer needs to understand the template heirarchy and how to use custom actions and hooks to make good use of the platform. ...

The Important Bit
What do you like best? I love how easy it is to find my way around. It took a little bit of poking around to get started, but I love the platform and use it both for my personal blog and professionally for the business I work for. What do you dislike? The upgrade on the post editor. I think it used to be a lot more straight forward and now the formatting is a mess. Recommendations to others considering the product Take the time to really sit down and get to know the platform. You ...

Great CMS for marketers without a web team or for new bloggers
What do you like best? I LOVE WordPress. I was first introduced when my marketing team needed a mini-website that we could maintain ourselves without too much dependence on our swamped web team. One of our web guys set up the entire site using The7 WordPress theme, which makes backend development of pages extremely user friendly and copy changes a breeze. I used the same setup (WP + The7 theme for my current company, and we were able to redesign and launch an entire website in 2 weeks or ...

Solid CMS
What do you like best? As the CMS of choice for most of the internet, WordPress is a great choice for ease of use (from an admin perspective and large support network (help articles, learning resources, plugins, etc. Having used WordPress from both an Admin and Developer perspective, it's overall ease of use is what's most attractive about it for me. Being able to hand over a new site built on WordPress, I know clients will be impressed with how easily they can make changes to their ...

Easy Platform to Build A Complete Website
What do you like best? I like that virtually anyone can setup a website using Wordpress. It allows you to install plugins to build on your website and make it greater. They even have free plugins. The platform is very intuitive. What do you dislike? i dislike that when you update, you can lose some of the changes you have made unless you have created what Wordpress calls a "child theme", which can be a little difficult for someone to figure out how to do. Recommendations to others ...

Still the Greatest Blogging Platform
What do you like best? Ease of use and freedom to use commercially for a really reasonable price (just pay for your hosting of choice. From the rank beginner to the experts the ease of customization is astounding. Not just for blogging it makes an excellent platform from which to build a conventional business website including e-commerce. What do you dislike? I need to learn a bit more to truly customize my site. Some of the paid themes are not really worth bothering with, but it's ...
