The best blogging platform out there

What do you like best? I love wordpress for its straightforward and easy user interface as well as the look and feel once my posts are posted. It displays my text and photos really beautifully on the screen. What do you dislike? I wish there were more options for non-premium users in terms of formatting the site if you don't know HTML or CSS. I don't think there are as many options available for the lay-person as there could be. Recommendations to others considering the product If ...

Easy to use platform for content management

What do you like best? WordPress is a highly intuitive platform. Whether you have experience using the program or don't, it's a very easy to catch on. What do you dislike? I wish there was a way to see or 'shop' the different WP logins available and to see what current plugins we're using. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Keeping all of our websites up to date for our corporate sites and franchisee websites.

Straight Forward and To The Point

What do you like best? I like that WordPress allows you to get all your content organized and then switch to design mode. What do you dislike? I do not like that every aspect of the website needs to be set up. I wish you could select a default set up and a few "typical" settings would get put into place (i.e. Cover page, etc What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am helping create websites for small business owners. The greatest ...

Perfect for simple-straight foreword designs, but not too great to customize

What do you like best? The selection of fonts, backgrounds and layouts are very thoughtful and have a great range of colors, feels, etc. What do you dislike? I don't enjoy how i couldn't move around the templates, or make some parts bigger/smaller to my liking. I think there may be a version that you can pay for that does this--but I think that adds little value to a paid product. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? For a ...

Great flexibility, a bit too heavy sometimes.

What do you like best? Simple to install and get going. Super easy to use and edit websites once you get the hang of it. A ton of themes readily available. What do you dislike? Sometimes it's just too much, too complicated. A lot of the themes available are really bogged down with plugins and whatnot, slowing up everything. Security is an issue, it can be easily hacked. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Quick and easy way to ...

My Experience with Wordpress was frustrating!

What do you like best? I liked the many options for widgets and other applications that worked in conjunction or integrated with Wordpress. What do you dislike? Its functionality was temperamental. My site would shut down for segments of time multiple times a day. We tried to run diagnostics many times, but came to no real conclusion of the issue. I used the program for multiple years, and finally gave up for a more user-friendly application. Recommendations to others considering the ...

cumbersome

What do you like best? My Site is great— the page editor is beautiful and it’s simple to understand. Pages and blog posts are created using a WYSIWYG editor What do you dislike? The WP Admin is too complicated to navigate. The interface will feel much more cluttered and disorganized. The Wordpress interface compared to other CMS’s is good, but compared to website builders it’s not. Recommendations to others considering the product If you want something completely customizable yes ...

Use this for clients, I recommend this CMS to most for my type of clients.

What do you like best? Easy yet customizable, established platform with endless template possibilities for well designed sites under a budget. What do you dislike? The freedom for multiple design options is also a con, no standards in how code must be written and does not encourage boundaries within the current UI/UX trends E-commerce merging custom seo What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? service-based, I do not recommend ...

Great tool for my business.

What do you like best? I love how customizable it is now. I'm able to have my website and blog all in one place, which is very convenient for business owners like me who are short on time! What do you dislike? There was a little bit of a learning curve, but that's to be expected. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it as my website, which is very important as a photography where first impressions are everything.

Word Press

What do you like best? The ease of use. It is easy to maintain our website, and we can create logins that allow multiple volunteers to help with these tasks. What do you dislike? In the earlier days, some features were buried in sub menus. Recommendations to others considering the product There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you have learned where things are, it's super easy to use. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...
