Wordpress Review

What do you like best? I like that there are so many customization options that allow you to make your site look how you want. This allows for better customization options than many other blog sites especially. What do you dislike? I wish the user face was slightly more user friendly and that you don't get redirected so many times when going through the editing process. In addition, the log in and account registration process is somewhat more confusing than other sites at times. ...

Valuable tool for prompt website launch

What do you like best? Speed, partial automation. I like that there is no need for IT administrator to be involved in setting up Wordpress site and later changing or switching between different templates and website themes. What do you dislike? It would be useful to have built-in multi language menu feature and automatically enable it for any theme. Currently, one needs to install a separate plugin, which is difficult to configure properly for responsive layouts (sometimes does not ...

Great Web Design Application

What do you like best? My Site is great— the page editor is beautiful and it’s simple to understand. Pages and blog posts are created using a WYSIWYG editor (so not a drag-and-drop visual interface, which many users may prefer. Fortunately the WYSIWYG editor is very nicely done What do you dislike? My Site is really simple. As soon as you to use some of the advanced features— for example create a store or add a poll— you have swap over to the WP Admin. Having two separated interfaces ...

WordPress is Great for Bloggers

What do you like best? WordPress is great for bloggers who don't want to be stuck with the ultimate basics of a blog site. You can tweak so many aspects of your site with WP! There are tons of free themes, or you can find reasonably priced custom themes. What do you dislike? It took me a while to be up and running with WP because I knew nothing of HTML coding. I greatly recommend having at least a very rudimentary knowledge of HTML before using WP. Recommendations to others ...

My Choice for Small Business Web Clients

What do you like best? I love that WordPress is open source and has a large developer network. Not only does it make finding a solution easy and cost effective for the client, but it holds other developers accountable as more people use the various plugins and themes across the web. What do you dislike? I do not like that WordPress is a target for a lot of hackers and spammers, but that is not the fault of WordPress. It is a direct result of it's popularity, but the security measures ...

Building a Blog Presence

What do you like best? Wordpress is incredibly easy to use, at least at a basic level, and it also offers the ability to customize if you know HTML. What do you dislike? In certain ways, it's not always necessary to use Wordpress, at least it wasn't for us. I can also blog directly within Wix.com, and the blog posts will appear on our webpage. I can post on Facebook and I can use Mailchimp (which is what I've transitioned to in the last year or so. Recommendations to others ...

Easy to use platform for writing

What do you like best? Wordpress is a very user friendly platform for writers. It provides a place for aspiring writers to showcase their abilities in a professional way. Many websites also use Wordpress so by allowing free access to their system sets writers up for success as they branch out with their writing. What do you dislike? Sometimes when I move my writing from Microsoft Word to Wordpress, there are extra spaces between paragraphs that I have to delete. When I then add images, ...

Easy to use, powerful, ubiquitous

What do you like best? I have been able to solve nearly every problem through addins or easily modifiable code. I love open source. What do you dislike? No complaints at present. It is not the greatest with user roles and access, and it is not scaleable for a really large number of concurrent users. I do not really use these features presently but may in the future. In particular, I wish there were better features for membership management. Recommendations to others considering the ...
