Wordpress for own project
What do you like best? Many users are not a professional in website design. The way Wordpress allow general public to create their own sites themselves is a niche. Wordpress.com is separated into two parts: My Site and WP Admin. My site is really simple, for beginners, WP admin is for more advanced user, it is condsiderate that Wordpress let people choose to customize their site on different levels. What do you dislike? Limited Permissions. WordPress does not give you the ability to ...

Overall, a great service
What do you like best? WordPress is a great blogging service and is relatively easy to use. With minimal blogging and IT experience, I was about to setup a blog, though maybe not one quite as nice as I would have liked. There are tons of template options and they are easy to use, it was confusing to me though how to use a purchased template from another site and how to integrate them, but then I have limited experience in this area. I love that you can use the base product for free. ...

Digital Marketing Specialist
What do you like best? To track analytics and post according to when I will get the most hits/viewers. I also enjoy creating and modifying content constantly to create viewer engagement. View engagement is important for any company. I think that with all of the tools and software available there is no reason to lack on viewers or content and I most enjoy being able to utilize them both, and WordPress allows me to do that. I can schedule when I want them to post so it doesn't matter what ...

WordPress is really the only reasonable choice
What do you like best? I can build a full featured job board in 4 days, a paid directory site in 3 days, and a robust ecommerce site in 2 days with WordPress. Everything I need has already been built, so rapid deployment takes on a whole new meaning. What do you dislike? WordPress user roles all give access to the same ugly backend interface. All 'white glove' experiences require (relatively extensive buildouts of custom backend interfaces with use of third-party services to allow ...

Best web software for my business needs
What do you like best? I love the versatility of Wordpress, and how it can be used for blog based sites or basic websites. It gives my clients an easy way to manage their content without a ton of knowledge of web development. What do you dislike? Honestly, there isn't much I dislike about the Wordpress software, however it can be difficult to edit some of the templates. This is purely a template or theme issue and not really a Wordpress issue. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Wordpress is the best all in one platform for enterprise and personal blogs
What do you like best? Adding plugins is one of the best features for Wordpress. There's a constant growth in ideas within Wordpress which enables so much power for its platform. You're also able to easily customize your theme with the use of widgets or other CSS options. What do you dislike? Themes and plugins can sometimes react to one another which makes troubleshooting a bit hard. I would recommend having an automatic backup set before modifying extensively. Recommendations to ...

My Go-To Blogging Platform
What do you like best? For both professional and personal blogs and websites, I have found no other software that is as user-friendly and compatible. The design features and customization make all posts appear aesthetically pleasing, while the back end lets even someone unfamiliar with coding or HTML feel comfortable they are using it correctly. What do you dislike? I don't feel that there is a wide distribution or encouragement of knowledge to maximize all WordPress features. I feel ...

Easy to use CMS great for simple web sites
What do you like best? The ease of installation and use has to be the number one reason to prefer wordpress over other CMS solutions. Its popularity means that you can always find a solution to any issue you have in the various user forums and also the large number of plugins means you are very likely to find the one you want (or more likely a few to be able to choose from It comes pre-install in many hosting plans, so very likely that no installation is needed - great for ...

Easy to use, blog style website.
What do you like best? Wordpress is easy to use and great for beginners after following tutorials and exploring options. The widgets available really allow you to customize your website and experience. What do you dislike? Wordpress seems to default to a blog style format. For most websites that I create, that format is inappropriate, but I have trouble figuring out how to get away from it. Even deleting the post specific columns in the post layout still leaves a lot of useless space ...
