Very user friendly when setting up

What do you like best? I have setup websites for over 10 different domain names, and all of them to Wordpress. I originally had a domain name with another provider, but their website uploading process was so complicated I cancelled that account. What do you dislike? I dislike the more complicated upgrade services, because I will be needing help from an expert setting up video, plug ins, ect. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Easy, User Friendly

What do you like best? I like how easy it was to learn how to use the site. It is very customizable which is a great thing to have. What do you dislike? The various "plug-ins" that constantly need to be installed are a little frustrating but besides that nothing really that i would dislike. Recommendations to others considering the product I would highly recommend it for companies - the easy to use, the various templates, etc. It is very rewarding. What business problems are you ...

Easy to use learn and adapt

What do you like best? I am not a developer, so we have hired developers to do the heavy lifting. But I do use WP every day to publish, and have found the user end, for someone like myself is very easy to use and you have endly options to adapt and add plug-ins. What do you dislike? Sometimes, the "categories" can feel a little limiting. You always have to choose a category for the post to organize the content. But it is really not a huge deal. Otherwise, the hardest thing is the ...

Flexible and Configurable But Slow

What do you like best? I like the ability to use templates based upon the style of the website. The many templates are nice to have so that customers can see an image of what their website may look like before actually choosing one. What do you dislike? The platform is slow and seems like it needs to be optimized for small sites. Plugins only add to the problem. Just about any plugin will slow the website down further which decreases the ability for Google to rank it highly. I also ...

Best Website Platform There Is!

What do you like best? Everything about the customization of WordPress is ideal for my site. The ability to edit the CSS and use preset themes is great, I have been able to really build a great site that does so much more than I ever thought it could, and the best thing is I am at the tip of the iceberg! What do you dislike? The learning curve was pretty tough, but I came from NO experience and was able to make my way through without hiring anyone, so it is not that bad really, there ...

Easy to use.

What do you like best? Wordpress is great for folks who don't know anything about web design. It's easy to use. Great navigation. The preview mode is great and the visual editor is superb. What do you dislike? Customizing some of the templates can be a challenge and often requires and experienced developer to perform the work. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? My firm was able to keep the simple web updates in-house for our ...

Wordpress is a powerful tool

What do you like best? I can create any kind of website. It's extremely powerful and well organized once you get the hang of it. What do you dislike? Third party plugin creators are a double-edged sword. Updates and weak themes and plugins that constantly threaten your site are a hassle and security breach, and steer most of my clients to Squarespace which is always updated without risk to the user. The learning curve for development and even minimal management is STEEP. Most clients ...

Hosts your website easily and has the simplest of platforms

What do you like best? The best thing is how easy it is to get your site up and running on WordPress as you can add posts, images and web pages very easily. What do you dislike? Although it is a simple tool, it is obvious that it will lack in certain areas - the depth. There isn't a lot you can do once the website is up and with other competitors out there, this may not be the best solution for big companies - but it works for everyone else. What business problems are you solving with ...

Best content management platform for websites

What do you like best? Flexibility and the number of plugins and apps that can be used with it to personalise the website. What do you dislike? Nothing in particular. Being a free platforms the support is not always the best but it is easy to find online resources or hire a web designer Recommendations to others considering the product I tend to use wp for all web projects so I would advise anybody with a minimum technical knowledge or willing to invest a little time to learn and ...

Word Press Is The Best!

What do you like best? The ease of this app is so crazy it makes it seem too easy and that is in one word, just incredible! It makes someone like me, who isn't website savvy, a website expert in no time! The instructions of how-to-do simple editing and writing aren't so technical that even a non-code user can understand more clearly and get the concepts down with ease. What do you dislike? There isn't anything I dislike about this! This is the best platform I have ever used in my ...
