Easy Web Site Design

What do you like best? The ease of use is great. I have used WordPress in the past and found it very easy to update and maintain a website. I am not a web developer by trade and was able to post and attach widgets easily What do you dislike? There wasn't a feature several years ago to allow for a hidden site where members of the union could post and communicate with each other. Since then Facebook has been used and is currently being used. Recommendations to others considering the ...

A great starting platform for just about everything

What do you like best? It's like Excel, WordPress can do pretty much anything but it won't be perfect for anything either. It's a great place to start and learn or for a killer blog. But eventually you will grow out of it. What do you dislike? Can be quite cumbersome to use. There is a lot going on for anyone that is just starting out. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it for our blog. Makes for a really powerful ...

Use it to update blog and newsroom

What do you like best? It's relatively straightforward to use once you are used to the back-end. There are a lot of great plug-ins that could make it a full-functioning website if need be. What do you dislike? In using besides my current job, I've found that without code knowledge or a very good template, it becomes hard to customize even the smallest things (brand in the middle vs side. The back-end can be quite intimidating if you are not familiar with how to build websites. ...

Making websites is much easier now

What do you like best? WordPress has a good range of templates, unlike the one's from Wix or such other website. It gives the flexibility of designing anything the way you want, which is very important. It is easier to develop with minimal coding, perfect for beginners. It has a huge user base and the support staff is great, prompt and precise replies. What do you dislike? The fact that you can do so much, can be little overwhelming for beginners sometimes. It becomes difficult to ...

Although bulky, there are endless possibilities!

What do you like best? Plugins. Plugins. Plugins. I think my favorite part about Wordpress would have to be the plugins. Although some people see this as a major downside, I have always loved this option. It allows for so much customizing without the need to know how to code. What do you dislike? Sometimes, it gets tiring to research every last thing as you go along. It has also made for a great community of creators. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

What do you like best? I had never used Wordpress before to run a website and blog, however, I found it to be incredibly user friendly. I learned many features in no time at all. What do you dislike? Sometimes the back end can be a little difficult to navigate, however if you give yourself a little time to familiarize yourself with it, it isn't an issue. Recommendations to others considering the product If you desire to have your own website but have no experience with coding or ...

WordPress Management

What do you like best? One feature I really enjoy with this, as I am in charge of managing websites for a multitude of companies, is that you can simply put /admin next to the site's web address and it will take you to the WordPress editor immediately. What do you dislike? It is not management friendly in terms of updating information on the sites. It always takes me a while to troubleshoot and find exactly where something is located on the site and then edit it from there. I feel it ...
