Use it for my website... very pleased

What do you like best? It is very easy to use. I love being a photographer as a hobbie, WordPress is the easiest way to get my photos out there. I can use the built in blogging features to share a part of my work, just like any blogging site, but what sets WordPress apart is the ability to create professional-looking websites as well. I use WordPress for my personal blog, my professional blog, and my website, and they all look great! What do you dislike? A little bit more of ...

Great for a free product

What do you like best? WordPress does a great job for a free product. You're not going to see as many 'flashy' features perhaps as Square Space, but if you're just starting out and/or don't need your website to be posted to Instagram, WordPress is very easy to use and you can still have the freedom to edit yourself. What do you dislike? As I mentioned above, it doesn't look QUITE as slick or sparkly as what you might find on Square Space or other paid/more expensive sites. ...

Good for the basics

What do you like best? If you're looking for an easy way to make your own website, then WordPress is a good first step. It is relatively easy to use, especially for people who don't know coding, html, etc. What do you dislike? Spam comments are non-stop and filters seem ineffective at preventing them. Also, the themes are not the most attractive. Recommendations to others considering the product For those of us who don't know much HTML but want a web presence, WordPress is a great ...

Wordpress.org - Most flexiable way to build and 'own' your own place on the web

What do you like best? The vast assortment of available themes to have your own custom site up and running. For those who are comfortable with learning WordPress, the options are limitless to what you can do with your site. But the best thing is that if you purchase your own URL is that you own your site. It's not rented from another company that can go out of business or raise rates or change themes on you. What do you dislike? WordPress is not designed for those who are not 'tech ...

Easy Website Development Tool for Beginners

What do you like best? WordPress is a simple CMS that is very user-friendly. You don't need html experience to work with WordPress, but if you do have experience, it makes it that much easier. There are also lots of design templates you can choose from, making it much easier and faster to develop a site. What do you dislike? Anyone can create plugins and share, however, they're not always the greatest quality. I don't know if the plugins are tested by WordPress at all, but often I've ...

This was a livesaver years back.

What do you like best? When I first started my company Pairlab ; a software intern introduced the team to Wordpress and it made our lives easier.Rather than spending weeks to throw out a demo ,we did that in a short few days ; that was great and it gave us real economic value ,in terms of savings. What do you dislike? Probably security issues thats all I can think about ;not that it mattered to us at the time as we only used Wordpress for demo products. Recommendations to others ...

Building a site on WordPress is Easy.

What do you like best? I have been a fan of building an entire site on Wordpress since 2008. I find it simple as well as highly customizable. It implements well in Google Analytics (my preferred tool for overall analytics and my go-to. I love how many plug ins are available and how easy it is to implement them and to disable them as well if they are not working out well for the needs of the company and marketing department. What do you dislike? I'm not a fan of updates to the Wordpress ...
