Better than the other competitors
What do you like best? Whereby is the only conferencing tool that really knows how to make use of high resolution screens, spreading your conference participants across the entire screen to take full advantage of the screen estate. Other competitors place tiny useless thumbnails on the side. It is also immensely helpful that Whereby lets you run entirely on a browser with no added applications or plugins. Lastly, the ability to create a custom easy to remember URL to share with ...

Mostly good
What do you like best? Easy to access, participants have no trouble logging in What do you dislike? No password (getting the code when needing our paid acct is annoying - its an unecessary extra step), havign to tggle between 1-4 room size and 5-12 room size, it should just be up to 12 (2-12 participants). What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easily accessible meetings for remote offices

A nice small group collaboration platform
What do you like best? Google Docs integration is great. Everyone can work off the same doc interactively, including making edits, during a video call. What do you dislike? Doesn't handle it well when individual users have laggy connections. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? 100% distributed team, so high-fidelity interaction is key.

Pretty good, not great
What do you like best? It is SUPER simple to get other people on the line and get started without downloading anything. LOVE THAT. What do you dislike? The file output if you have the premium membership is hard to work with for more video editing software requiring you to use handbrake or VLC to encode differently. I also REALLY dislike that I recorded the WRONG screen - the UX on picking what screen to record is not obvious, and not user-friendly. But it only takes 1 monumental ...

Service is EXCELLENT.
What do you like best? Quick connection - it takes virtually no setup and it's really reliable. What do you dislike? I liked the previous name better, but whereby.com is not bad. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Quick onboarding with people not familiar with service. Rarely any issues.

Great and Simple!
What do you like best? It's easy and simple to use. Everybody wants to try it. What do you dislike? Could be different while screen sharing so I can see the others while on shared window. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Communication in business.

Painless teleconferencing!
What do you like best? The ability to drag and drop each user around my screen makes keeping track of who has spoken during standups so easy. It's also more adept at screensharing - including other tabs in Chrome - than nearly any other tool I've seen. What do you dislike? In the integration with Mailbird, I can't seem to screenshare. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're a fully remote team, so the ability to pop into a video ...

A great tool
What do you like best? Anyone with the link can access it which means it's more accessible for folks who are less digitally literate. What do you dislike? Sharing screens is really frustrating. You share your screen and then it shares a million things at once and confuses and scares lots of people, particularly if they don't know Whereby. Also I wish there were a desktop app so that I could share my screen and see the person at the same time. I want to be able to share my ...

Works Great
What do you like best? We've used everything from Hangouts, Skype, Zoom... Whereby is incredibly simple and extremely functional. What do you dislike? Really nothing I can pinpoint. If there are any lags, or glitches, it's very easy to hit refresh and you're back in the meeting in seconds. Recommendations to others considering the product: It doesn't get any easier and serves the needs for quick communication, screen sharing and directions. What problems are you solving ...

Its basic service is free and works without installing any software.
What do you like best? The fact that we can invite anyone to the video conference by sending a URL. What do you dislike? Video quality is quite inconsistent compared to Zoom or Skype. It also doesn't work on Safari or other browsers than Google Chrome. Recommendations to others considering the product: Whereby is a better alternative solution of Zoom or Skype, but it's just lesser-known in the market. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...
