Excellent Customer Service

What do you like best? VNC support staff is top-notch. They are quick to reply and take the time needed to assist you. As a trial user I had a dedicated support staff member. He was able to screen share and helped me get up and running amid the COVID-19 epidemic. I would recommend VNC to anyone. What do you dislike? VNC works. I have no complaints. I'm happily working from home during the COVID-19 stay at home order. Recommendations to others considering the product: I ...

Good, old, reliable.

What do you like best? Real VNC works period, especially with legacy machines... which the more modern softwares like AnyDesk or Teamviewer do not! What do you dislike? VNC has been around and has not to my knowledge been implemented in the capacity Teamviewer or AnyDesk has. Whereas the other two have much nicer interfaces and work out of the box with any “modern” computer VNC requires a bit of legwork to get up and running and employees who aren’t technically savvy with have ...

Overall, a reliable software for remote desktop access

What do you like best? It is easy to establish remote desktop connection. I can use heavy applications with this on a remote pc without burdening my laptop. What do you dislike? The response is sometimes slow. Saving shortcut often causes confusion. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I connect to a remote desktop and run intensive workloads on the desktop from my front end laptop.

Lightweight and reliable remote client

What do you like best? Client works reliably across different environments, stable connection What do you dislike? Our use cases warrant a thick client in some instances, the lack of support for that requires some workarounds What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ability to remotely troubleshoot problems with minimal setup from end users. Helps us identify common problems like you'd expect without a massive IT outlay.

Convenient way to access work from home or outside the cleanroom

What do you like best? I work in the semiconductor industry and we are able to control the master software from home or a different room outside the cleanroom, without going through the hassle of gowning in or going to the fab on the weekends. What do you dislike? There is no way to see who is doing what, and sometimes when teams are fighting over control of the machine it gets quite hectic. It would be good for an admin to have control over who has viewing and who has control ...

One of the most important business apps you can have

What do you like best? We use this software every day due to its simplicity and effectiveness as a tool to support the business. The licensing is not based on control nodes like others but by supported seats which make pricing far more competitive. What do you dislike? To state at this stage we have found no specific reason not to use this product. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Remote management of all our sites using ...

Great, GREAT value for the money

What do you like best? It does pretty much everything that Logmein does. I switched from Logmein to VNC Connect. It was cheaper, faster, and more user friendly. The transition was seamless. I was able to access all of my computers, even behind a firewall. Also, I love that the company "gives back", to provide free access to those people, including students, the tool to use their raspberry pi's remotely, to learn engineering and automation. Very well done. I've been using VNC since the ...

Quick and efficient way to connect to my work computer from any of my devices!

What do you like best? Super easy to connect to and has phone app! Was going to setup a full remote connect in my computer but this was so much easier and didn't require our IT guy to come out and set it up. He was the one that recommended it and am grateful for that! Wasn't sure how it would do with dual monitors, but it is easy to use and I haven't had any issues with it lagging or taking a long time to respond. Though it is a little tough to use on a phone, well because it is a ...

Easy and reliable

What do you like best? I use RealVNC to connect two home computers to two work computers so I can work from home easily when needed. One is a Mac, and one is Linux. The Mac support is very good, and I can view my laptop screen plus 2 connected monitors remotely, and it looks so similar I can barely tell it's remote. Linux support is almost as good, but full screen across two monitors doesn't work, so I manually position the window across both monitors each time I connect. What I like ...

For my purposes the best remote control tool

What do you like best? VNC provides fast, secured connections for remote control of other computers. It can be run as a service so that you can start remote access without interference of a remote person, once installed. File and data transfer via clipboard is available, too. Advantages compared to others: 1. Peer to peer direct conenctions possible (without necessary foreign host like TeamViewer) 2. So far no problems with different screen resolutions. 3.available for mobile devices ...
