What is VizTerra?
VizTerra is Structure Studios' landscape and hardscape design product, covering decks, outdoor kitchens, paving and planting plans. Its core workflow is drawing in 2D and switching to 3D from the same file, so the client presentation and the construction plan come from one drawing rather than two. Smart Data produces hardscape material calculations including step risers and turn-down measurements automatically. Version 4, released in 2026, rebuilt the 3D engine around path tracing with dynamic global illumination, added over 1,000 assets, and expanded GIS data support so parcel lines and setbacks can be generated inside the design. Clients can be walked through an interactive 3D tour or sent a rendered video.
