Debug: we have the possibility to modify the code during the execution of the program! What do you ...

Feature-rich but slow
What do you like best? It has everything you could want, integrations are always getting better and open source is making its way into the environment. What do you dislike? The speed - I have a multiprocessor 64-bit system with nearly 60GB RAM and two Intel XEONs with 8 cores each @ 2.27GHz (so 16 logical cores). When a solution begins to get not unreasonably large, say 30 projects, the degradation appears to increase exponentially. The projects in the solution are not themselves ...

Though few features are good like the test explorers view has improved. Best IDE for .NET Developers
What do you like best? I've tried many different IDEs and none of them gets close to the ease of use and depth (you can do almost anything with it) that Visual Studio offers. Additionally, if you miss any functionality you will probably find and extension that adds it. What do you dislike? Some times you need to restart it because it becomes unresponsive and some of the new updates can introduce problems that weren't there before. Recommendations to others considering the product: ...
