What is Vanna AI?
Vanna AI connects a model to your database as a user-aware agent: it is given the ability to run SQL queries and generate charts, so a question asked in plain language is answered by querying the data rather than by guessing at it. Because it is a framework rather than a finished application, teams embed it in their own product and control what each user is allowed to ask and see. It installs as a Python package for self-hosting or runs on Vanna Cloud, with the same admin features on either side, and an API is available on every paid plan. Plans are sold by questions per day, and annual subscriptions carry a published discount.
