Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more

Trello pros and cons

  • Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.

  • Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.

  • Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.

  • Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.

  • Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.

  • Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Easy to Use and Makes Completing Tasks (more) Fun

What do you like best? I like how simple Trello is to use. The interface is really clean and simple. It isn't clunky like Basecamp, Jira, or other platforms. We can all stay open about communication and create project-based checklists for users, assign users, and create due dates as well. Trello has been a cut above the rest when it comes to easy to use prohject management software. I highly recommend this software to any company. What do you dislike? There isn't much I'd like ...

Best way to collab!

What do you like best? Working remote trello has made is super easy to stay connected and get projects completed that involve multiple departments. What do you dislike? One negative about trello was that the longer your boards get the slower the platform is. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's free so give it a try even if it is just to keep yourself organized with tasks What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Helpful Trello!

What do you like best? Very visual and helps keep you super organized either for just yourself or collaborative group projects or tasks. What do you dislike? Just a small thing - you can't delete cards when done. You can only move htem to a "Completed" column. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Collaborative and organizational challenges are being solved together at the same time. Also, time management has had a huge improvement.

Super powerful tools for projects

What do you like best? It's very simple to use, it has cool and powerful extensions, and it's the best tool to manage projects following scrum or kanban methodologies. What do you dislike? It needs to add effort points to the card by default. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Organizing projects, following scrum methodology

Easiest PM tool out there

What do you like best? It's simple, you get things done! compared with other management tools like Basecamp or Jira, which are bigger, are also more complicated and tend to complicate things on small ToDo items. For small projects, for small teams, Trello solves all the problems. By a simple click here, there, drag this here and there, you can get everything you need to run your next project or endeavor. But, do not get me wrong, simplicity does not mean few features, Trello is powerful ...

Trello has been an awesome tool (Even with the free version) in managing multiple teams and my tasks

What do you like best? The ability to create different boards that allow me to track the status of each team's projects. It's organized and uber intuitive to use. What do you dislike? There are a few functions I wish Trello had. From what I have seen there is no way to approve the completion of someone's projects. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you find your self with too many spreadsheets, notebooks, and sticky notes... Trello is a great tool to ...

Above average project management software

What do you like best? Easy to learn, quick to adjust, and teams don't shy away from it as much as things like Basecamp or Asana What do you dislike? Very A and B, the binary can sometimes be restrictive. Not too much to complain about, honestly. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use it if you want something easy to pick up that helps your team stay aligned, and is a nice version of virtual to do list. Especially good for creative projects, video edits, ...

Very useful for an organized life

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to create my daily and weekly tasks and separate them into groups as needed. It is also extremely easy to collaborate with team members or anyone really on tasks so that everybody is on the same page. The layout is pleasing to look at and easy to understand. What do you dislike? I wish it was easier to sort things within a list by priority or to make it easier to see which items need to be done first. This can be separated into ...

Plans with the team

What do you like best? When you would like to manage the work of yours, Trello is considered the most useful tool. We're your happy clients and we make use of the device to prioritise the work of ours, whether our staff is on the very same platform or perhaps not, within the function of a member's problem, with Trello you generally recognize which project need to be accomplished urgently. What do you dislike? There are several little mistakes, but they have to be corrected ...
