Simple and efficient way to schedule project activities
What do you like best? TouchPlan is a highly visual representation of the construction activities scheduled and the reporting allows for detailed analysis of labor resources. It's nice to even break out the project into smaller sections in addition to by-level breakouts. What do you dislike? As a fairly new user, I haven't come across anything I don't dislike, or I've forgotten what I don't like. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Mobile Platform beneficial for last planner and higher%of promises hit
What do you like best? The To-Do list with your trade and promise dates to give to field/Last Planer to work off What do you dislike? That you can’t view other trade promise dates to foresee any constraints or that everyone is on time as promised to efficiently schedule manpower. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Most realistic and accurate way to create job site schedules with everyone accountability on screen. Procure any lead ...

Stay in touch with your Projects!
What do you like best? The way you can control every activity (at each detailed level) is pretty good. It saves us lots of time. You can have lots of useful reports for your crew, to make them understand the weekly work easily, and you can also evaluate the work once it's done. Its functionality as a communication channel works pretty good. Every one knows what task they have to do, when they have to do it, and even details such as duration and crew size can be useful. The user ...

Touchplan is great for Pull Planning and Reporting
What do you like best? It has the ability to have remote users collaborate in real time. It also enables us to engage contractors remotely and in real time. This add to the overall accuracy of our program but as well as the success of the program. the prodcut is also really easy to use and easy to teach even the least tech savoy. What do you dislike? I wish it was a bit easier to make predecessors and successors to each tied task. click and drag would be a more intuitive. The product ...

Subcontractor
What do you like best? Easy to move tasks. Easy to create tasks. What do you dislike? The schedule creating function for Gantt layouts doesn't seem very usefull yet. Recommendations to others considering the product: This is good for collaboration between subcontractors and can do so live. When used with on line meeting platforms, callers can add to the discussion and provide feedback to the group. When we used the function to create a Gantt type print out, the information ...

Touchplan for TAKT Review
What do you like best? Remote workflow during Covid, ease of use, good basic reports. Online support and chat has been good. Key people are quick to respond. What do you dislike? Integration options are poor (import/export only). Web Services, and tables for PowerBI at a minimum would help our adoption. Alignment to CPM feature set could be improved. Price is a non-starter for some projects. Recommendations to others considering the product: Know the problems you are trying to ...

Only LEAN way to Pull Plan
What do you like best? Makes Last Planner principles possible for teams that are forced to work remotely. The interface is user friendly and easy to learn. The work product is live and dynamically managed, rather than being put on a wall at the start of a job and then being neglected when things get going. What do you dislike? Very Complex and large projects may be limited by the number of swim lanes - forcing multiple projects with multiple plans to be developed to Phase and Pull a ...

Fantastic scheduling software!
What do you like best? I love being able to add tickets and drag and drop where they go. What do you dislike? Zooming in and out to see the entire schedule duration can be cumbersome. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This software greatly expedites schedule creation and trade coordination.

Planning focused correctly
What do you like best? Touchplan takes a lot of the data entry management out of the process and allows one to focus on the content of planning and the actual process needing to be diagnosed. What do you dislike? Lack of a Mobile App is the biggest thing that comes to mind. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Building a construction site is in and of itself a problem. So, being able to better address the problems affecting the day, ...
