Steer clear of this company
Steer clear of this company. I have 18 units using Toast and I am having to go through the painful process of switching to a new POS system because their service and support is non existent. Their staff is to inept too even onboard new locations.

We have used this app at several…
We have used this app at several restaurants and it is terrible. Orders never come up together. Always confusion at order time, when the food comes out and when it's time to pay. Sever friends no longer eat at the local restaurants because of this system. More work for the waiters than just taking our order. I loath when the group decides to go to one of these restaurants because of this system. Food is good but the app ruins it.

Excuse me, but there is no service in my customer care…
When the pandemic 1st hit we had already started implementing our Toast system. We decided not to move forward with the space and I was grateful Toast refunded every cent and let us go. They were our 1st choice for our new spot and even chose them with a higher monthly price than a equivalent competitor. Fast forward 2 years and Toast changed completely and the lack of customer service really surprised me. Our sales guy signed us up for two systems as we are also running a ghost kitchen. I ...

Love the "at your table" payment
Love the "at your table" payment. However, the tipping function is less than ideal. The only option is to tip by percent and there are times I want to give a dollar amount rather than percentage. Also tip is calculated on tax. It should be calculated on food and beverage subtotal only. I'm not being served tax.

SOLID GOOD PRODUCT
If you are thinking of using Toast, do it. It is a great software and once you become accustomed to it, very user friendly. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that I find it costly for the average operation. Its the very beginning and it is very possible that some of the benefits will outweigh the costs. This has to do with us as well, as we need to work in order to utilize the tools that the system makes available. It remains to be seen though how these work, but I suspect that ...

My Toast Terminal Issue
We have issues with the terminal. It will stop printing and will go offline about 2-3 times a week, which is very frustrating. I've called customer support to have it amended and they walk me through getting the printer to work, however, the issue still occurs so they are not really fixing the actual issue. To get a field worker out to look at the terminal would cost $100 per hour which is way too much money so we unfortunately have to just deal with the issue. The Toast Tab would be so ...

I agree with many of the reviews
I agree with many of the reviews. Toast can be a good system but there is a lot of work to be done to make it work for you. Our implementation wasn't the best. I have had to make so many changes in the system since opening almost 2 years ago. AND I am constantly working on it to improve how things flow. Customer service is nice but most times can not fix a problem. They aren't always very knowledgeable. Their updates are terrible! Every time they do one something goes wrong on our end. We ...

Expensive 2 handheld are not enough…
Expensive 2 handheld are not enough but i can not afford 1 or 2 more extra Our customer complaints about tex messages cause toast don’t have that option We can’t store the customers e-mails and we can’t no send any Week’s Special If people want to split 1 check is waste time for us because we have to open tabs and separate all the items thats crazi we dont have Specific FIRE Button To Fire food after appetizers no good.
