Toast Customer Service Sucks!!!

Was shipped a defective Toast POS and customer flex unit. contacted support and tried for 6 months to get it to work right. I was finally granted a new unit to be sent out. Hooked up the new unit and it works fine. Returned the unit to Toast and the next day was charged for the unit. Have been trying to get a refund the past 5 months but keep getting the runaround. Customer service is sub-par and am in process of switching POS because of the terrible support they provide their customers. ...

Absolutely love Toast

Absolutely love Toast! I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking to update/ starting up. Customer service is a amazing! Any time I have a problem I am in contact with a Toast rep within a few hours. And I’ve never come across a rude rep, always super sweet and helpful!

Overall fantastic and straightforward…

Overall fantastic and straightforward system. Only issue has been a few outages which caused thousands of dollars lost because data was lost on toasts side. Has since been fixed. Customer service is always looking out for you and super helpful. Would recommend.

Good for single stores, terrible for enterprise.

PROS: Easy for single restaurant or small chain. Quick menu setup, very little effort. Devices available are pretty solid, and easy to use. CONS: This is not for medium/large businesses. There is no enterprise-level ability to speak of. They tried, but it did not work well at all. You can only work with one store at a time but have to dive deep to see more than one store at any level of setup or programming. 3rd party integration is a nightmare, as their database is not consistent across ...

terrible service and an expensive price

if you want bad service, fake promises and lack of effort to help, Toast is the POS for you. I received no onboarding, customer service treats me like an employee they do not like or care for. I was given a 3-month free trial and canceled but continued to be charged for services I don't use. My sales person left the company and still show him as my contact person.

Toast is good over all

Toast is good over all. Some times system goes down for short periods of time. Seems like they do a lot of updates, but I don’t usually notice what the updates are supposed to improve

Not the best for liquor only establishments

The software itself is fine, and the cloud based system makes it easy to do on the fly changes as needed. However as other reviewers mention, the customer service is abysmal. No one knows what they’re talking about, and that’s frustrating when you do know what you’re talking about. Also not the best software for bars/Nightclubs, it’s much better for food prep.
