Toast does it all!

Having worked in restaurants for over 25 years, I've used a lot of POS systems. Toast is by far my favorite with an intuitive ordering system, comprehensive reporting, easy to navigate BOH set up and great add on options such as online ordering, marketing and loyalty programs.

Disappointed, Frustrated, and Finished

As usual, the person we worked with was some combination of uninformed, misinformed, and incompetent. They could not answer our questions, could not hand us to someone who could, and got increasingly snyde with us as we tried to clarify the issue with them. We switched six stores from Square to Toast in September, we are on the brink of switching back to Square even though it means eating about $15,000 in equipment for the Toast implementation.

Everything but Time Cards

Everything but Time Cards Toast is fantastic in every way shape and form except for the way they have their time entries laid out. There is always an expectation for me encourage my employees to clock in and out we all know that doesn't always happen. Trying to remember what day of the week the 21st of whatever month is a pain. I wish they would put it in a weekly view so I can see where and when people were clocked in and out. Toast is the only one I know who doesn't do it that way. When ...

Toast hardware is fine but their…

Toast hardware is fine but their customer support is poor. Reps are not trained well to troubleshoot problems. Better programs out there. Unfortunately we are currently stuck with toast.

Toast has made managing my business…Easy!!!!

Toast has made managing my business easy by providing more then just menu managment and card processing. I didn't know they help with fileing quarterly taxes and dui reports. This has taken a huge burden off my shoulders and allows me more time to focus on my day to day worries.

Lots of things were left out in the…

Lots of things were left out in the conversations about what charges I would incur, the fact that I would have to submit my state and local taxes monthly(not a function of Toast), and most of all extremely poor customer service when calling or email in a problem. With all these things if I were to open another location I would look for another POS supplier and would suggest to other business owners to do the same.
