Avoid! Hidden fees from the bank due to the technology they use within the app.
Do not use! Using my credit card to pay for something through this app has meant my bank has now charged me a cash advance fee, the same fee that they charge if you take cash out from a cash point. I'm now worried my credit score is going to be ruined, this is right before I make a purchase for a house! Avoid avoid avoid!!

SumUp is not for everyone
If you are a small unregistered business the SumUp account is definitely not for you. We are a small members club and purchased a SumUp card reader to take payments at our bar. Brilliant
I am a small scale user of Sumup. I have used their customer service system twice, both times by going into the computer version of the app and asking for support via a callback. Today they called back within two minutes. The friendly agent patiently explained what I needed to do and Bingo!, all working again.
