I was dubious about the SumUp reader…
I was dubious about the SumUp reader due to negative reviews on here. Signup was just 1 hr Reader arrived in 2 days Seems to work straightaway although there was a £5k limit which was lifted in 2 hrs. Money due into my account tomorrow. Hopefully it does. So far so good!

I've been using my Sumup card reader…
I've been using my Sumup card reader for nearly two years. I've found it to be a great asset to my taxi business. Having had no problems other than occasionally no phone signal which is out of their control I have had no reason to contact customer support so can't comment on that side. I would and have recommended them to several small some traders and will continue to.

SumUp in one word....Brilliant!
Being an English speaking person with a business in Spain, finding and using SumUp has been fantastic. It makes paying so easy for our clients where ever they are throughout Europe. On the few occasions I have contacted the ES support team by email, I have had a reply within a few MINUTES in my native language which is very impressive.

My request was answered promptly and to the point. It looks like a lot of people are disappointed. All I can say is that I use this company for about a year and a half now and sometimes have been some delays but not more than 24 hours. I am a taxi driver and the cash flow is important to me. When my card reader stop working-not because it was bad, but because one of my clients dropped it on the floor- I got a new one the next day. Have used it for the first time while exhibiting at an Open Studios. A great asset to have, so easy to use, and they only charge you 1.69% per transaction. It is brilliant! Good customer service too, as I have contacted them to find out how the payouts are done.
