Do not get sum up after purchasing the card reader I was able to use it 5 times until a block was placed on my account. I was sent an email asking for ID verification which I sent straight away. After 3 weeks of phoning complaining and getting no where I was still stuck with a blocked account and a few thousand pounds of taken payment I could not access. After neraly 1 month Id just had an email to say my ID has been accepted and can I send pictures of my products, buisness cards flyers, ...

unable to log in, both app and online. Card doesn't work either. So in conclusion total useless service and stopped my business and unable me to take any payments. I will widow all the money and close account with them as I can afford be out of the business because of their poor service.

There are many choices today as to which bank card reader company may fit or meet your business needs. After researching many of the options, I chose SumUp. The process was very easy to complete. I happened to have a glitch on the bank end which was actually my fault at first, which caused some delay. I began communicating with the SumUp team and it was a fantastic experience. unable to use your own existing card

Having gone through the system of setting up a Sumup card reader 5 times in different ways to try to get to the point where I can use my own existing card it didn't work. They managed to send me 3 cards I didn't want and I returned them. How come we cant just set it up on our existing cards without agreeing to their terms and them sending cards at there expense and waste?? what a waste of my time.

The Sumup app says we have been paid nearly £800 but it has not reached our account after a few weeks. They do not answer emails or phone calls. There is no way to check on the system what account numbers they used so we are unable to find where the money has gone. Very very poor service.

Sumup reward - money in the bank

Sumup is such a great and easy to use card machine, especially for small business who are hoping to get bigger. I recommended a friend and got money in my bank from Sumup for doing it just by sending a link to her- amazing!

Avoid this company

Was good at the start, then got frozen and asked for proof of a sale, sent all within an hour of getting the email, took them 2 weeks to read an email and unfreeze, took another payment, frozen again then account permanently closed all within an hour. Took my money, sent an email with required bank and copy of bank statements to get sent into, had no reply, phone calls get diverted to correct team and never get answered. AVOID AVOID

I have had Sumup now for several months…

I have had Sumup now for several months and I have to say that it is a great advantage to have this as a payment option for my business. Can't imagine being without it now. Thank you Sumup.
