Sumup sent me an unsolicited card, I have never had any dealings with sumup, yet they have my Adress. It is disturbing that their response to the last review was to suggest that the person contact them and give them all of their other details

Customers claiming charge backs & defrauding small business and SumUp doing nothing
I am a small hairdressing business. I had a customer who had a 4 hour service with me and I charged her nearly £100. The week before she had also canceled her appointment 8 hours before but I chose not to charge her the 100% cancellation fee. I rebooked the customer and she had the 4 hour appointment as stated above. The customer left and claimed the underneath of her hair didn’t look highlighted so I invited her back in for me to see and potentially alter her highlights. She said she ...

Terrible company - the machine is faulty and customer service are useless
I initially contacted in September 2022 about my faulty machine to get a replacement like for like (a 3g without printer) It is 14th November 2022 today and ive contacted live chat again and they said they need time to look into it. It has been 2 months and they are still debating whether or not to send a machine out, which I need everyday in order to take payment. Sumup 3G device stopped working
My Sumup 3G device stopped working just over a year after it was purchased. I was told that it was out of warranty so I would have to purchase a replacement. I would have expected a longer warranty period that just 12 months. Not very impressed.

Probably the best card machine
Probably the best card machine . I have had mine for a few years now and never had a problem set up was easy, and pay out is very quick. Low rates on transactions make it even better. So happy with mine as an Artisan Market Organiser I recommend it to all my stallholders.
