This company caused me to lose 5000 dollars and put me out of business. I repaired an out of state truck and took a credit card payment. 8 hours after the customers truck was released I received an email from Sumup requesting that I get a release form signed by the customer that my work was satisfactory in order for Sumup to release my funds. Account Closed, Money Being Held

When I created my account and transacted, I had no issues with them (payouts were always on time). But out of the blue, my account was placed on hold, and I was asked a series of KYC questions (which I answered to the best of my knowledge). Some personal documents were also requested (and I provided them). I received an email two days later, that my account had been terminated permanently. They wouldn't state my crimes or let me transfer my funds out of my account. It's been about 6 days ...

Doesn't work in our village hall

Got this for our village hall to use at a few events a year. It wouldn't work with the BT open wifi, understandably, but neither did it with the closed one. A second machine also failed after 8 transactions. Sumup say we have dropped it or weather conditions have caused it to fail and we are one month out of warranty so buy another - no thanks not until you can prove it will work.
