I was asked for more information to allow them to verify our profile, as a school PTA that isn't a registered charity there isn't a lot to provide. We don't have an online presence beyond a Facebook page so I provided everything to the best of my ability. After sending in the requested information SumUp decided to close our account immediately. very slow in proccessing payments and…

very slow in proccesding payments and only proccessing in small amounts. considering moving ftom sumup to an alternate and more consistant one!! i never signed up to receive my payments over a week after the sale. what happened to receiving payment within 2 to 3 days. over £600 outstanding. sort it out now 312 WF61PZ... updated 20th august stopped taking sumup payments

Absolutely horrific experience! We have been trying and trying and trying to sign-up for several months and it would appear the role of their staff is to keep throwing up roadblocks to new customers. Every single time we send them exactly what they ask for, they then send us a request for something else. They have even added false names to the account. It is an absolute disaster! They closed my account for no reason 3 months ago , didn’t explain why , I’ve returned the card reader yet I’m still chasing them to get my money back. It’s been 3 months of constant calls and emails. They keep asking me for proof which I’ve sent so many times and they’re not bothered to check anything I’m sending them as proof. They constantly keep asking for new things, I provide the proof and they just ignore my emails. It feels like they’re scammers. Apparently when I call , they can’t ...

Useless, keep getting emails to verify the owner of a different business at the same address, tried explaining it, of course I'm wrong, companies house is wrong but sumup is right🤣🤣🤣

BE AWARE

I used this company as I was forced to use the payment system in store. I noticed an advertisement stating I would get £10 cash back if I “ download the app. I did this and got nothing back. I have wrote to the company they say if I did not complete my profile verification on time in full I wouldn’t get anything from them. Won’t be using them again and I will be telling my whole family and friends
