Awful customer service and hardware issues
Like so many of the 1* reviews on here this relates to the "blocking" of the Solo card terminal. Like a lot of small business who trade at shows and events on a seasonal or occasional basis we don't use our card terminal every day and had initially bought a SumUp "Air" to use with a smartphone, this works ok, although the Bluetooth crashes sometimes and it can be slow to connect but overall it works. It’s great
It’s a nice and easy to use machine Tap tap go is what I call it Great for taxi drivers. Money the next day Takes all cards Also email receipts. It’s fab!!

Sumup speed issues
All too often particularly at weekends, device is slow to "get a signal" or "connect to server having got satelite signal". Don't know if this is an internet problem or Sumup fault. Frustrating in a taxi when customer doesn't have cash. Needs to be quicker. Maybe 2G not enough???

SumUp has been excellent for my small business. I gives me the flexibility to take card payments but without any big bills at the end of a month.

A mixed bag really
A mixed bag really. Cheaper overall running costs but connectivity is very hit and miss. It can be quite time consuming and embarrassing when having to reboot the machine whilst a customer waits.
