Absolutely atrocious customer service…
Absolutely atrocious customer service when things go wrong. Slow, ignoring half the message, repetitive and being incredibly rude. Some of the rudeness might be a language/culture barrier (they're based in Germany and I don't know where the support team are based), but one particular response they sent me a clearly copied and pasted message that was irrelevant, I replied asking them to answer my questions, and they replied "Our first sentence in. our previous email was the answer to you" ...

Worst payment system in human history
Had to pay for something through SumUp. Took my money from my card and got charged a cash advance fee for my troubles. This was after a verification transaction where I also got charged a cash advance fee. Then the payment failed but SumUp held onto my money. The app has a withdrawal option which DOES NOT WORK! Support then tells me that you cannot withdraw your funds to your bank or credit/debit card. What's the point in having a withdrawal option then? Never had issues like this when ...
