My business used to use Barclaycard…

My business used to use Barclaycard machines that were heavy, clumsy and expensive and poor signal reception, and majority of the time the payments would take a week to hit the bank account !!! Since we moved over to SUMUP it’s been a breeze light weight machines, text receipts and cheaper running costs and the money is in the account next day or day after. All in all a better service

Sumup is just about ok - it gets the job done - but it seems to make life difficult in many areas. If you're a sole trader or a married couple you'll be fine but if you have a team of people or you need to trust employees, you'll find the permissions and delegation a huge challenge. Just one simple example - if you run events or have a high turnover of novel product lines, the only person who is authorised to add new product lines (or amend prices) is the administrator. Your employees can ...
