Make you buy a new reader every year
Sell you a reader that develops an error blocked code just outside of warranty period then try to sell you another one. Much needed charity funds wasted instead of being given to the people who need it.

they terminate accounts without giving any reason and notice which is totally unacceptable
I am extremely disappointed with SumUp. They terminated my account without any notice or explanation, which is completely unacceptable for a payment processing company. As a small business owner, this abrupt termination has caused significant disruption and stress. I tried reaching out to their customer service to understand the reason behind the termination, but I was met with vague responses and no real answers. Terrible slow service
Have used sum up for a while now until all off a sudden they closed my account down without mentioning why. There is also a charge back on file which has been on there for 4 months when it should have been resolved in a month maximum but every time I call to ask about it I get fobbed off by them "to wait for a email" how long this email takes no one knows and then to just close my account down for no reason is even more terrible. Plenty of other companies I can give my money to.

Love the flexibility of the card reader…
Love the flexibility of the card reader as this can be taken anywhere. Payments are easy and you can send a receipt via phone. Yiu can keep record on transactions.
