Handing our subscrition refund

Our organization had used StoryBlocks in the past but those who used it have long since left and we had no login information as to how to access the site to cancel our subscription. When a charge hit our credit card for the annual subscription, we went on the online chat asking for a cancellation of our subscription and a refund of the charge. They were very profession, generous and honest in dealing with us. Christian was our point of contact. He followed through and was very kind.

The customer service is terrible

The customer service is terrible. The website glitched off the back of a card expiring. Updated billing info and the account showed as active in subscription but everytime I tried to download something an error appeared. Had to try and cancel and re do the subscription but the price increased £10 per month. Contacting customer service, they were no help at all so I'll be taking my business to a competitor

Misleading fees

Pricing structure is very misleading by their own admission. They led me to believe I was signing up for a $15 per month subscription that I could, and I quote, "cancel any time" — only to hit me with a $190 annual fee. I canceled immediately and was given the runaround by various people there, including one who wrote: "Our $15 plan is an advertised breakdown of the annual upfront purchase. We are not the only company to do this, but I agree it can be confusing. We are negotiating with the ...

Feel I needed to leave a review

Feel I needed to leave a review. Wanted to try a monthly subscription, but paid fpr the annual subscription by mistake. Contacted the support and they replied in no-time that the amount would be refunded in 5-7 bank days. Had the refund on my account the same day. Great service)

Previous issues resolved now

Had an initial issue with watermarking. It took numerous contacts with their customer support, but I was eventually able to get assistance from them. While the issue was very irritating and incurred production issues, the customer support lead was able to finally assist with the problem.

What do you like best about Storyblocks? Very fast and has a lot of content to use, a lot of audio, music, and sound effects. Greate Feature for Premier Pro users, they can add plug-in to the program and start searching and downloading clips and audio from the program!

My god their customer service is awful

My god their customer service is awful. They have a chat system on the site that sucks (reply time is hours). If you call them they are completely unhelpful. And when I email them its like a different person is answering each reply. I asked for a subscription to be cancelled and the next email reply was asking if I wanted my account closed? This company is a scam

This company (Storyblocks) is a scam, I started downloading files from Thursday, 1-26-23, through Friday, 1-27-23, and they locked my account. I downloaded as many files as needed for all my projects, and my account got locked out without warning (So much for unlimited downloads). I sent them an e-mail for support, and they responded after 48 hours, telling me my account got locked due to many downloads.
