What do you like best? It's scalable. We started with a small standalone installation with a very small data set. Great software easy to learn

What do you like best? Its very eady to learn if you know how relational databases work...meaning you can setup relationships.. What do you dislike? Amazingly broad tool with some complex management issues

What do you like best? The tooling included in base Splunk, plus the broad community supplying pre-built extensions to common data needs, greatly reduce time to detection on problems and make tracing root cause issues much easier than any other tool I've used. What do you dislike? Management of the software can be complex, as it is a complex tool. Buying professional services for initial configuration and any major changes (e.g. moving to a clustered environment) is frankly necessary ...
