Speechify needs more consistency and transparency, and some better customer service representatives...

I have really enjoyed Speechify for the past two years, having used the subscription version of their service. Amazing Consumption and Retention of Studies

Speechify has helped me read and retain my studies much more efficiently. Even when I had an issue with the program, the helpdesk team addressed my problem and fixed it within hours. I have been using them for over a year and will continue using them in the foreseeable future.

Premium voices don’t last, but customer support is helpful

I love the voices, but they kind of sneak in the arbitrary word limit under the excitement of the premium voice. The non-premium voices kind of all sound like Siri, which is not ideal for a paid service. However the support is very helpful. I spoke to someone named Nikki who understood the situation and gave me an extra 50k words for the month. I really appreciate Nikki, but I wish Speechify would be more upfront about the surprise word limit.

I did use the trial days offered by…

I did use the trial days offered by Speechify and straddled with the expiration of them I contacted Speechify support to block the annual activation. I received assistance in less than half an hour. Mr. Brandale kindly provided me with directions on how to proceed (in my case). I really appreciated the timeliness/quickness of the customer service and the professionalism and completeness of the directions. PURE FRAUD AND DARK UX

Genuinely sickening that the app shows a free trial; so you sign up for it, and the money gets taken straight away…immediately…no free trial, nothing. Why are you showing a free trial if it doesn’t exist? - ah yes, because you’re fraudulent They won’t help as it was purchased through Apple.
