"The Review you asked for"

What do you like best about Socrative? Saving paper and not having to grade exams. What do you dislike about Socrative? I’d like a time stamp for when each student starts and ends their questions. I would also like to remove a students during a particular session so that it does not show the student as logged in. What problems is Socrative solving and how is that benefiting you? I know which types of questions/topics my students struggle with.

I've been using Socrative for many years now. As an 8th grade science teacher I have used it for everything from my "sponge" activities to quizzes, tests, and my students fav, the Space Race. As of today I have launched 2799 assignments through the years and found it to be a pretty solid platform with predictable and fixable issues. Thanks!

"Socrative helps me bridge in-class and virtual instruction."

What do you like best about Socrative? I like that I have access to student responses in real time. What do you dislike about Socrative? I would like to have more choices of question types (like matching). My students get frustrated that their short-answers are counted "wrong" when they aren't typed in exactly as I put them in . Even though I tell them that I will check those answers myself, they believe what the machine says over what I say. What problems is Socrative solving and how is ...

Math teacher and dedicated user!

As a math teacher, I use Socrative to get student responses both in-class and for homework assignments. The recently added math text is an enormous help, though I could use some more symbols and functions that it lacks. I would also ask Socrative to consider adding sound clips and video clips to questions.

"Socrative is a great way to assess student mastery of subjects."

What do you like best about Socrative? Questions and answer choices are randomized. What do you dislike about Socrative? If a student gets logged off they need to start all over again. I also think that there should be the option of setting time limits for tests/quizzes and the option of "kicking a student" out of a test/quiz if they shouldn't be logged into the test. Tests should also be able to be merged. What problems is Socrative solving and how is that benefiting you? Efficiency, ...

Wish there was a draw it slide to see the student work when solving math equations.Wish there was a way to give feedback on a question: maybe a thumbs up or down, or a heart emoji
