Spotsaas Editor’s POV

SketchUp's main strength is its learning curve—most users move from basic to productive within days, not weeks. The 3D-to-2D conversion works reliably for architectural drawings and permit sets. The component library is extensive, which speeds up common tasks like adding doors, windows, and furniture. However, verify in a demo that the software handles your ...Read more

A 3D modeler without comparison.

What do you like best? Sketchup is undoubtedly the best software for 3D modeling beyond the complete and versatile that it is, is for its easy use and operation, unlike many other software offers many freedoms when modeling your drawings, with many simple but powerful tools allows you to achieve the best results very quickly. It surpasses other software because it allows you to do things better in a more practical way and with an extremely lightweight software that requires few ...

Model what you want.

What do you like best? Sketchup is an incredible software that allows me to model practically what I want because it has very versatile and easy to use tools that do not stop me at the time of using it, it seems to me that there are no parameters of use nor rules that tell me what is the right way of doing things and that allows many freedoms. Compared with similar software is much more free and allows me to do my modeling more coarsely. I like the way in which it accompanies itself with ...

Sketchup is my go to for 3d printing

What do you like best? I have been using Sketchup for over a decade as a cad and 3d visualization tool. Once 3d printing came on the scene, Sketchup became in indispensable tool for quickly creating 3d printable designs with perfect dimensions. What do you dislike? It can be difficult to make more advanced shapes, although admittedly this is something that can be overcome with time and training, as I have seen some incredibly intricate and highly detailed designs from other users. ...

The best way to model your projects.

What do you like best? For many years I have used this powerful and simple tool that I love because it always gives me the best results and the best experience in 3D modeling. What I get from this software is the incredible things that I can achieve in the simplest way, although there are other programs that allow you to edit modeled in a good way, compared to the ease with which you can do it with Sketchup. The commands are extremely easy to use, the extrusion, the drawing tools, the ...

Modeling facility.

What do you like best? I fell in love with this tool at the first moment of using it, I had already tried other 3D modeling tools, which did not satisfy me, but Sketchup is super effective, practical, functional and, above all, easy to use. I love the simplicity with which I can lift the flat images. I like the way I can draw from scratch or import images and predesigned files into programs like AutoCAD. It is a software compatible with many sectors, engineers, architects, designers, ...

The Best Answer for Pre-visualization - Both Features and Value

What do you like best? SketchUp is approachable, as far as 3D modeling and previs tools go. You don't need to take a collegiate course to get started creating renderings and sharing them with your team. And the price point makes it a great choice. What do you dislike? There are some idiosyncrasies of SketchUp, such as how a face must be part of a component to avoid colliding with another face when placed next to each other. But they're easily understandable and can be worked around. ...

SkechUp Review

What do you like best? I like this software because it is fast, easy to use and very reliable. I also like the fact that SketchUp has large icons and the toolbar is customizable. Whenever I am using this software I am able to know how my projects will look like even before they are completed.
