Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Sketch is Awesome
What do you like best? Sketch is simple to use and is a web designer’s best friend. It integrates beautifully with iOS development in Xcode. What do you dislike? Not much I don’t like about Sketch. They are continually improving the app and I don’t find it to be buggy at all. Recommendations to others considering the product: Sketch is a fabulous design tool. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? iOS development and paired with ...

Sketch is an amazing tool for any UI designer
What do you like best? I love that the app frequently gets better and better. It's simple to use, and provides the essentials needed for quick UI designs. What do you dislike? I don't like that there aren't many options for shared colors and styles. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I create many high and low fidelity mockups with Sketch. I can easily share my files with colleagues with 3rd party tools and plugins.

Great experience
What do you like best? I like the symbols and all the third-party apps that you can add to sketch. The sketch api allows developers to make all sort of cool features. And even if sketch is missing something a third-party developer could show and make it. Like that one that I just started using last week for version controll. It's a game changer if you create designs in collaboration with other designers. I like the simplicity of Sketch and how it allows me to focus on the design. I like ...

Sketch is easy to use and can handle most tasks
What do you like best? I like how easy it is to use. Someone who has never used it can figure it out in a matter of minutes What do you dislike? Haven’t found a good way to edit photos. Removing colors. Photoshop seems to do a better job at this Recommendations to others considering the product: Download the trial and go to YouTube. You can find all sorts of great how to videos. Learning is very easy What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Takes some time to get acquainted
What do you like best? Once you get the hang of it, it enables the designer to create designs easily and quickly see how the end user will see it. What do you dislike? Switching between the different formats is difficult and not as intuitive as I would think. The program should be able to take one design and put it into different formats without all of the reformatting issues. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am able to see what the ...

The perfect design tool
What do you like best? I like the amount of free resources I can find online, besides this I can preview my design in real time on my device using a plugin so I can get a real feel on how it will feel like. What do you dislike? I hate the fact that if I have resources made with previews versions the Sketch I can open it using the latest version. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are using another vector graphic software you won't even feel the change onto ...

Wonderfully simple, incredibly affordable
What do you like best? I love that Sketch is just a one-time investment of $99 and then you get updates for life. What do you dislike? Coming from Photoshop, there was just a slight learning curve, but it's also much better at wireframing and mocking up than photoshop is. Photoshop is for editing photos, sketch is for everything else in my opinion. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it to design prototypes for websites, web apps, ...

The best prototyping tool I've worked with.
What do you like best? Easy icon design. A multitude of plugins that make life easier. Seamless integration with Craft/Invision. Integration with Flinto. Extremely easy exporting functionality. What do you dislike? Hard to think of anything....I think it could have better mirroring functionality. Flinto's and Adobe XD's mirroring is great because it'll size a window right in front of you based on your artboard. I think Sketch should include that so I can get a low-level view of my ...

Versatility of Sketch
What do you like best? Easy integration with plugins. Intuitive interface with seamless transitions into other products like principal. What do you dislike? No quick shortcuts to responsive design. Lacks integrations to adobe suite like adobe XD does. Prototyping within sketch isn't possible. Simultaneous editing from multiple users not possible. Recommendations to others considering the product: Watch videos to get tips and ask questions, find the right plug ins. What problems ...
