Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

My go to quckie
What do you like best? I love how this software works. It's a good bit more intuitive than the alternatives. What do you dislike? I don't like the limited capability of manipulating bitmaps and other imported images. Recommendations to others considering the product: Utilize plugins!!! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This is my go to graphics creator when I don't feeling opening and waiting on photoshop (which is most of the time.

Sketch is still ahead of Adobe XD
What do you like best? The symbols function - the fact that I can create repeatable systems within my documents saves so much time! What do you dislike? So far, I don't really understand the prototyping tool and think it needs further refinement, however it has only been released for about two weeks. Recommendations to others considering the product: Watch the tutorials on Sketch's website - there are so many parts of Sketch that I didn't realize until I had been using it for a few ...

Incredibly intuitive design experience and workflow for all UI interfaces
What do you like best? I love the infinite canvas working space - I'm able to zoom in and out with ease, jump from project to project (within the same infinite canvas and align things alongside artboards for reference. This is a huge time saver and not found in Photoshop or Illustrator. What do you dislike? I want to be able to use more shortcuts. I know these exist but it's not apparent what they are. In photoshop or Illustrator, I'm able to hover over a tool and see the shortcut ...

Sketch is buggy as hell
What do you like best? It is relatively easy to use from a systems standpoint; it's convenient to re-use symbols, overrides, etc. What do you dislike? We need to maintain copy docs and keep parity between those matrices, Sketch and Invision. There is no good way to export copy and labels from Sketch without running through JSON and into CSV Recommendations to others considering the product: Consider Invision suite, although that is equally problematic What problems are you solving ...

Great once you get the hang of things
What do you like best? I like how this is the most accurate way to create web and app mockups. With other platforms I've had an issue translating the design into a live product, but I don't have this problem with Sketch. What do you dislike? At first it didn't feel intuitive to use. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? App design

Moreover, a robust plugin system and active developer community greatly expands the capabilities of the app. What do you dislike? Their Library feature, which allows you to share design compoments easily between Sketch files and other team ...

User friendly!
What do you like best? I enjoy how user friendly sketch is. It is very easy to use and easy to get the hang of. I also love the feature where you can make your own symbols and add them to your gallery! What do you dislike? Alignment is a huge issue when I use Sketch. I can never tell if things are aligning to the point, pixel, or a different object. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I have been using sketch for web design mockups and ...
