Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Why Aren't You Using Sketch Yet?
What do you like best? Sketch is, hands down, the best vector graphics program available today. It's become the go-to standard for UI design because it's light-weight and easy to use. Unlike Photoshop, Illustrator, and the like, Sketch is usable, fast, and priced appropriately. What do you dislike? Sketch could do a bit more to improve color management and a few other under-the-hood items, but in general it has come a long way and is headed in the right direction. Recommendations to ...

Good for Price but Lacks Proper Features
What do you like best? First and foremost, clearly outlining the different tiers of software is important to paint a clearer picture. While this is no Adobe Illustrator, it still offers many good integrative and essential tools for various social media based (low complexity projects and quick UI/UX layouts. It is very intuitive and offers a wide array of functions that is easy for many beginners to dive into. What do you dislike? While I acknowledge I may biased as an Adobe ...

Efficient For Fast Production
What do you like best? Sketch is pretty easy to learn. The learning curve for basic functionality is low and I like that it has different platform canvas and artboards are easy to move around. I LOVE that it has prototyping functionality and integrate nicely with Invision. I really appreciate that it is a one-time buy. What do you dislike? I don't like that it takes too many steps to make a proper grid. Also, to remove guide lines, you either have to manually do it one by one or remove ...

My go-to UX&UI design tool
What do you like best? It's super fast, the file size is very low, i can go on for many iterations and create many artboards without using that much space. Doesn't use much RAM as well. The community is terrific, many sketch-related forums, as well as many plugins that help me do things that Sketch's native features don't allow. What do you dislike? It very rarely crashes, and is lacking some advanced prototyping features that tools like Framer would have. .svg export is a bit buggy ...

Easy To Use
What do you like best? It's really simple to get started. There's a lot of functionality but to get started as a beginner is simple. The price is awesome for everything it can do. The integrations with plugins and other software is great. What do you dislike? It's not as performant as other tools used. Once you start creating really complex files everything starts to slow down. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use plugins! It'll make your life much easier. What ...

The Best Tool for Designing Interfaces
What do you like best? Sketch works seamlessly, always has. I think performance is definitely one of my top favorite aspects of Sketch. This is so important - especially when you're working with a los of assets or files that are potentially very heavy. What do you dislike? I do wish I could alter between light and dark mode. I think after 3+ hours in front of a screen, my eyesight begins to suffer. I often use sketch for long periods of time so perhaps being able to alter the mode ...

What do you like best? I like that the program allows you to collaborate with others. It's very easy to share the file and feedbacks. What do you dislike? I wish it's more compatible with Adobe products since we use Adobe a lot. Recommendations to others considering the product: The Sketch is a great program to create mock-ups for websites or mobile apps. The already created widgets are very useful. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...
