Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Extensive library of assets and plugins enhancing workflow and creativity.
Collaboration features like real-time team functionality and integration with other tools.

Sketch
What do you like best? Sketch is made for UX, web, & mobile designers. I love the infinite canvas, flexibility with artboards, & slicing assets is so easy. Also, a great wealth of free resources and plugins that make the change to Sketch from Adobe a lot smoother. What do you dislike? Definitely wish Sketch was available for PC - it's hard to get a whole team onboard with using a new program, but to have to change OS too is a stretch. There are some features, like typography, symbols, ...

Despite some glitches, a solid prototyping tool
What do you like best? The symbol features, text styles, and shared styles can definitely be used in combinations of eachother to easily make massive changes. Just like using paragraph styles and character styles in indesign, making single changes across multiple elements is extremely easy. What do you dislike? There must be a little bit more friction to change symbols, text styles, and shared styles. Just like how in InDesign, you must confirm before making changes to paragraph ...

Used for wireframes and mockups
What do you like best? Sketch is versatile. I use it to go from the wireframe stage all the way to the visual design. It's also great that there are so many plugins and templates available. What do you dislike? Sometimes I notice a few bugs the more I use it. An example is how the text blurs when I view my work, but it becomes clear when I click on it. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's a lot more affordable than Adobe Creative Suite and it's becoming a common ...

Best vector editor on Mac
What do you like best? I like the most how Sketch integrates with OSX where it can and the development team, which regularly publishes free updates to the product. What do you dislike? There were issues (now fixed with typography, which shouldn't happen in an application for visual design. Another problem area (though not the developers fault was the Mac App Store, which took sometimes weeks to publish important product updates. Recommendations to others considering the product: ...

Valuable collaboration tool
What do you like best? Sketch is easy to use. The barrier to entry is much lower than with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, which is makes it a great collaboration tool. As a designer, I often mock up screens and workflows in Sketch. It's easy to pass off to a product manager who might add final copy or make small adjustments. Once the design is complete, I will hand off the Sketch file to our developers, who will pull color and spacing information straight from the source. The ...

Without doubt the most used app in my toolkit the past few years.
What do you like best? Sketch and its integration with InVision is by far its standout feature for me. Artboards and syncing with Invision (or whatever prototype tool you use has improved my work flow, and the wider design teams. We're much quicker in producing assets to explain the UX and acheiving stakeholder buy-in and sign-off. What do you dislike? This is a feature request, more than a dislike. Sketch should introduce the idea of shared projects, much like Axure, this would allow ...

Worked with Sketch for a variety of Web Design projects and Print projects
What do you like best? The performance is something that I enjoy the most. It performs much better than Adobe products. Other than that, as a web developer, the SVG output is much cleaner than other vector products, and the ability to separate web components into their own layers but still keep relationships between them is very useful. Also, the plugins are simple to use and install, which adds a whole separate layer of usefulness to the app. What do you dislike? The UI, while simple, ...

I use sketch daily for multiple use cases. I mockup, prototype, design, wireframe, etc.
What do you like best? The speed. I come from using photoshop for design oriented tasks, and let me tell you that is was slow. Sketch is a designer's answer to prayer. In my opinion, the only true program made for ui design tasks. The plugins for it are still are gaining ground too. Its works great with the new craft plugin from invision. I would just like to mention again, the speed, the speed, the speed. It is so fast compared to other tools. I love having pages and artboards for my ...
