What is Semonto?
Semonto is a website and server monitoring platform that helps businesses, developers and digital agencies stay on top of the health of their online services. Websites can develop problems without anyone noticing: a page becomes unreachable, a certificate expires, a link breaks after an update, a domain approaches its renewal date, a background job stops running or performance gradually deteriorates. Manually checking for these issues does not scale, especially when managing multiple websites or applications. Semonto continuously performs these checks in the background and notifies the right people when something requires attention. Monitoring includes website uptime and reachability, TLS/SSL certificates, broken links, mixed content, domain names, website content, Lighthouse performance and SEO metrics, server health and cron jobs. Status pages can be used to communicate incidents, while reports provide historical uptime and performance data for internal teams, management or clients. Semonto is designed to be straightforward to set up: most website monitoring starts by entering a URL, without installing software on the monitored website. More advanced monitoring and integrations are available when needed. The goal is not simply to collect monitoring data, but to reduce manual checks and provide an early warning when something changes or goes wrong, helping teams stay in control of the websites and services they are responsible for.
