One Source Multiple Targets
What do you like best? I like to implement one service and integrate all other services with the Segment. It's quite great value if you send data to multiple services. You don't need to worry about each implementation separately. Developer time saver. What do you dislike? I don't have any negative comments, everything is working properly. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Don't spend more time on development for integration.

Great when tracking non-anonymous activity
What do you like best? Segment is great to have a standard API to have the dev team build tracking against. It handles it all for you. It also support server-side tracking instead of loading a dozen SDKs client side! It also has (almost) seamless integration with all kinds of downstream destinations. What do you dislike? Segment's cloud mode means it uses API calls to send data to your destinations (like salesforce), so be careful with your API limits! There is (currently) no way to ...

What do you like best? Segment has a lot of integration which makes it the best tool for data gathering for our products. Also, a variety of SDKs in a different language is also available. User management has improved a lot since our first used of segment. Testing and Monitoring data is easy. What do you dislike? Saves us a ton of dev time
What do you like best? Segment's thought leadership as far as the "Segment Spec" goes is unrivaled in the industry. Their approach to customer-data analytics is certainly their best. What do you dislike? Each integration has its own nuance, I wish that was better categorized. For example, HubSpot needs an email passed down as a property, other integrations may not, etc... it ends up fighting against the streamlined-ness of Segment as an abstraction layer. No better turn-key solution to move data to multiple sources
What do you like best? I love how many destinations and sources segment supports. I can easily send data from websites, backend and frontend web applications to wherever I need it to go, even if it's multiple places. Excellent for setting up user analytics, admin dashboards, etc. What do you dislike? Sometimes it can be challenging to configure services like intercom or mixpanel on the frontend when the configuration options are obfuscated by the analytics library, but it's a small ...

What do you like best? It seems to do what few other SaaS products do - to route all your data to the right tools without having to re-instrument everything. What do you dislike? Segment saves my team countless hours of development
What do you like best? Segment solves a problem that has plagued almost every team I have worked on previously. The constant requirement to integrate a new customer tracking system gets in the way of more important work.
