I cancelled my free trial over a week ago, that's more than a week before the official trial ends. Today I get an email from PayPal saying that Scribd have taken payment .. I'm fuming , absolutely fuming .If you try to email their official support email you get a response saying that email is not monitored, you then have to figure out how to use their clumsy support website. If they dispute this review I'll gladly forward my scribd account details and the transaction ID. This company will ...

I wish there is an option for 0 star

I wish there is an option for 0 star. Cancelled the membership many times but they are still charging me. I will talk with my bank to block their transaction in the future.

This is a scam

This is a scam. I was asked to upload 3 pdfs which did and even didn't receive the required download.

Account deleted by Scribd while I was paying for it, they refuse to refund

I loved Scribd before my account was DELETED BY SCRIBD and they are REFUSING TO REFUND my last payment, even though I have not been able to access the content for some weeks. Apparently my account was flagged and deleted by their anti-fraud system, while I have been paying my account for over a year and have not made any changes to the payment. Frankly unbelievable. #3491260

Avoid Scribd

Be sure to avoid Scribd. Due to an error on signup, they charged me twice every month but only refunded me one month's worth of subscription. So apart from the very narrow range of audiobooks it is also very bad customer service.
