THIS SITE IS AWFUL
THIS SITE IS AWFUL. Been trying to cancel for the last three months. Can't change my email address in order to log into Scribd. Have tried to contact them through socials. But they keep sending me to the website...which is useless. How am I supposed to get my money back and stop Scribd from charging me??!!

Won’t play books half of the time
When it works, it’s great. But 1/3 of the time I want to listen I just get a message that says “just a moment” and it won’t play the book. I’m planning to cancel my membership if it continues.

Please do not believe the “ unlimited”…
Please do not believe the “ unlimited” claims on audiobooks with this company. I listened to a couple and made a list then suddenly they took them out of my list and I lost access to their library it was then filled with books from Librivox as everyone knows is just public domain books. So, it is not unlimited. It is also hard to cancel. They may stop charging they may not. You will definitely lose access to the service but there’s no Guarantee they will stop charging your card. Account kept getting hacked
I went onto my Scribd app last month and noticed that there were a load of books partially read that I've never looked at. I cancelled my subscription straight away and contacted support. They got back to me very quickly and said my email and password got exposed on a data breach of a different site. Funny I have different passwords for my accounts to stop this from happening. They reset my password. However yesterday someone tried to gain access to my account by resetting the password. ...
