The membership cancellation is so cryptic. I thought I canceled my trial the first time and they kept attempting to charge me. I did it again, still, they attempted charging me again. It appears that when you cancel you have to scroll all the way to the down of the page to press another cancellation button, still after that they won't really cancel it until you press another button.

Maybe not a scam but definitely the most frustrating company you'll ever deal with
I signed up and used Scribd a couple of times but found that I could not find hardly any of the titles I wanted and the app and service from the local library was better. I tried to cancel my subscription over a month ago and that was HORRIBLE: you cannot go to your account and simply cancel- they send you to different sites and multiple links do not work and they tell you to communicate by email but those links do not work either. Comme beaucoup, je me suis simplement fait avoir par une offre d'essai que j'ai oublier de résilier. A 10€ par mois pendant 1 an, ça fait mal alors qu'on n'a jamais utilisé ce service.
