My experience has been about 60% good and 40% bad

My experience has been about 60% good and 40% bad. It's true that Scribd sometimes loses the rights to books temporarily, but one time almost my entire library of saved books was unavailable for a week. And I've only listened to 3 audiobooks so far, but two of the three have glitches in the audio or are missing entire sections of the books. I'm not quite sure how that happens. The good is that I love having access to so many books and audiobooks for something like $11 a month. It's a good ...

I only use Scribd for Audiobooks

I only use Scribd for Audiobooks, and I’ve been very happy so far, except for the fact that some have glitches in the audio. But it doesn’t last long. For the price it can’t be beat in my option. Audible is $15 per book and Scribd is $11 a month. Great value!

Blocked My Account After Deducting My Money

After deducting the subscription fee I couldn't log into my account. Contacted Scribd repeatedly through email and via their site. Finally got a response. Scribd blocked my account due to fraudulent activity. I pay my subscription fee monthly with my own money via my own Paypal account. I pause my subscription during busy periods which breaks no rules. The Good The Bad & The Ugly

The Good: the cost is great, the library is amazing, the suggestions are right on. I like how I am able keep and divide books into categories. The recordings are high quality and professional The Bad: not every book in a series is always available, i wish there was a way to distinguish if the books is read with an english accent before downloading it. i have been using Scribd for at least two years, likely more. It is a service that allows me to find books that are not in my local library. Or at times the book I want includes many other readers ahead of me. So Scribd is another option that I have found to be very helpful.

Scribd is a cute scam

Scribd are not the platform they claim to be. There is no such thing as ‘unlimited reading’- the reality is that for 10 days after payment- you have access to many kinds of books. After that, if you have a list of books you want to read, over 95% of it will be frozen off until the next payment(190 books off my list). Their customer services are absolutely appalling- they’re training to spin a version of ‘according to our policy’ and absolutely useless otherwise. Not to mention- getting a ...

Hard to cancel

Supplys good information, but if you don't cancel before the free trial ends its difficult to cancel on their website. Says my account wasn't active but still took money I had to cancel through Paypal.
