I've been a subscriber to Scribd for…two months

I've been a subscriber to Scribd for about 2 months and am very happy with the app. I've listened to over 20 titles and enjoyed each one immensely. The suggestions are really helpful and I've found old favorites from popular authors here too.

Love Scribd

I work from home and usually listen to Podcasts on Iheartradio. I love to sit, hold a book and read so I was unsure about an audiobook. I had tried in the past on roads trips but couldn't focus. Scribd has so much content and in the last few months I've listened to SO many books. Sometimes three a week. I'm loving it so much! Very happy with Scribd 💞

Not a bad price for the selection

Not a bad price for the selection. They don’t always have the book I want to read - especially with the more popular newer titles- but I’ve read several books I would not otherwise have thought to read thanks to their recommendations. If you’re looking for an Audible experience, this isn’t quite it. But, if you enjoy reading just to read and are open to suggestions based on your history, it’s a good subscription at a good price

Very misleading cancellation page

Some decent material but did not have what I required so I tried to cancel. The cancellation page is very misleading verging on a scam. You click cancel subscription and the following page says you still have 24 days of read remaining. This makes it look very much like a cancellation confirmation and you can continue until the end of the current subscription. Only if you scroll down does it then show two buttons with the "retain subscription" being the obvious one. I ended up paying for at ...

Unusually high volume of Subscription…

Unusually high volume of Subscription content? This is very subjective. Before I subscribe, I would like a clear answer on the number of audiobooks that I may listen to each month. “Your Subscription entitles You to access Scribd's digital library of content during the subscription period. Some Subscription Content may not be immediately available to the small percentage of users that consume an unusually high volume of Subscription Content.”

We use Scribd in our homeschool for books our library doesn’t have but so many times books we are reading randomly disappear for a month. Customer service is horrible we asked if some changes could be made and I told them I was almost ready to cancel my subscription and instead of addressing my concerns they cancelled my membership without my okay! Excellent value - Great Variety

Excellent value - love unlimited listening! I am a heavy listener of audio books and get them from many sources. Scribd is the first place I look since all available audiobooks are included in the monthly subscription fee. Hubby and I both use the account and it’s so easy to search and put things in our own libraries. He also likes the ePub reader books. They would get five stars if they had all the books for authors who write series - but this may have more to do with publishers and ...
