Avoid these scammers

Cancelled the subscription after using the trial of the website and I thought that was it, until 11 months later I realise they have still been billing me and had to contact them through the (difficult to find) human support staff. They only refunded the latest month, absolute scam.

After 2 payments, website is not accessible at all. I want my money back!

I've been subscribing for 2 months since May 2022 and since Aug, we were not able to access the site. Are you guys a scam company? I want my money back!

Enjoying Scribd

My friend told me about Scribd in July. I love it. I've listened to several audio books while in my car, doing chores, getting ready in the morning and have also read several books. I love the set fee and the opportunity to pick out as many books as you want. There have been a few technical issues with stories pausing in the audio but these days what doesn't have some technical difficulty.

Scribd continue to take money even after you cancel

I cancelled my account 23 January 2021, I have email response from them. They continued to charge for 21 months! I am unable to use the website chat as I do not have an account because they closed it. I have been charged aprox $230USD for a product I have not gotten. I will continue to write reviews on this business as they fraudulently take money.

Not working

Hello, It’s two months that I’m paying the 10 euros monthly without being able to access the website, therefore I would like to cancel my subscription in order not to further pay. I absolutely love this app. I personally think it’s better than Kindle though I do like them as well. I’ve found a lot more books as well as audiobooks on here than I have anywhere else. Especially for the one set price and no added fees. I’ve recommended this to so many people now. I love Scribd!

I love Scribd! I use it almost exclusively for audiobooks but have been impressed by the other media options available to me. I am most impressed with how much I can listen to or read that's included in the monthly cost. I like that I don't have to use "credits" to choose books. I like to switch up my reading pretty often so it's common I'm listening to multiple books at the same time. To me, the value of this app is top notch. I love reading and paying per book is just too expensive with other audiobook apps. Also waiting months for a book on loan through the library is frustrating. SCRIBD is a great compromise, i can read and listen as much as I want, and what isn't available right now is usually available in 30 days which is amazing. the only issue I have been having is playback issues of dead air for up to 3 minutes in the audio books. Otherwise it would be 5 stars

Stopped working

I love Scribd. I love listening to audiobooks and it’s how I get most of my reading done. However, it stopped working in Italy and despite getting my money back, I’m still pretty upset I can’t use the service. I understand temporary issues, but it’s been two months and it still doesn’t work. It makes me wonder if they truly care about their Italian customers. Two months to fix an issue, really?
