many uses of Scribd

I started using Scribd while in grad school to help with my studies but have continued to use Scribd because I love audiobooks. I listen at work, in the car, or while relaxing at home. I have listened to countless hours of Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, and Jess Micheals just to name a few. I absolutely love my app!!!!

Need to cancel my subscription but no help whatsoever.

Ticket# 4444856 1) They won't let me access my account 2) I wish to cancel my subscription and now I am helpless 3) No way to reach customer service, so sent an email 15 days ago. Got reply 5 days later asking for details and it's been 10 days since. No reply whatsoever. Scribd has the worst customer service. Will be reporting Scribd as a fraudulent company to my bank.

Shady company - AVOID the 1month trial you will never be able to opt out!!!

Very shady company, I should have never subscribed to the so-called 30-month free trial. Even though I cancelled some days after I opted in (and I remember that bc the site was saying you have 17 or so more days of free reading) - today they tried to charge me!!! I logged in again after so long only to find out that my cancellation never went through! No contact details to contact them. I should have seen the reviews here before signing in. AVOID!

Scribd is working well for me so far

Scribd is working well for me so far. Variety is good - about 80% of what I need is here, for the other 20% I use another service. Also I wish it was possible to leave a note when adding a bookmark. Otherwise, it's a good service, that gives you what you expect from it. And the app is easier to use than Audible.

I love Scribd

I love Scribd. As someone who is aging and has a problem with processing the written word I do so love audio now. Kinda like my old time love for old time radio. Wish scribd had a timer and well a wider library

Good selection and price / common playback issues

There is a good selection of audio books and compared to purchasing each book individually, the cost is not bad. I regularly have problems with playback. If I download a book, the audio will skip forward intermittently. I now can only stream the book I want to listen to. Sometimes even this has issues with the books loading. Update: After another playback issue, I cannot listen to the book at all. I contacted support days ago and have not yet received any response other than an automated ...

I love the simplicity in using this app…

I love the simplicity in using this app ! The selection of books I find diverse and have loved the books I have read ! Like that you can read books in print as well as audio books

For the most part I really enjoy this…

For the most part I really enjoy this service. Through the recommendations I have found some wonderful writers. I wish it didn't limit my audiobooks so quickly. But I think that it is what it is. The only negative is when the price went up with no warning. And in today's world it felt like price gouging. I can't see this as a supply chain issue.
